On September 27, TEIMAS analyzed the novelties and challenges of waste management in large corporations in a day that included 4 presentations focused on packaging regulations, waste producer responsibility, technology applied to waste management and a success case of digitization of waste management in large corporations.
Santiago de Compostela (28.09.2023)- TEIMAS, a technology company specialized in software solutions for the waste management value chain, organized on September 27th in Madrid the first edition of the TEIMAS OpenDoors conference. In this meeting, specialists in waste regulations, technology applied to waste management and environmental management addressed two thematic blocks focused on waste regulations in Spain and technology applied to waste management in large corporations.
In an edition with limited capacity that had more than 50 attendees, the day began with the presentation of a roadmap for regulatory compliance with Royal Decree 1055/2022 on packaging and packaging waste, by Teresa Sebastía (Founder of Valenver). Next, Luis Palomino (Secretary General of Asegre) addressed the importance of waste producer responsibility and Daniel Cid (Operations Manager of the Zero platform at TEIMAS) presented the main developments and innovations in technology applied to the waste value chain in large corporations. The day concluded with the presentation of a success story by Paz Mateos (Coordinator of the environmental management system of American Tower Spain).
