TEIMAS, the company specialized in the development of technological solutions for efficient waste management and the promotion of the circular economy, has appointed Cristina Vázquez Muiño as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
TEIMAS, a Spanish company that develops technological solutions for professional waste management and the circular economy, has appointed Cristina Vázquez Muiño a partner of the company, as the new CEO. Vázquez, who is an IT engineer and trained as an Executive in Management Development, had previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).
As CEO of TEIMAS, Vázquez will focus on leading the company's strategic plan, driving the digitization of the waste value chain in large national and international corporations and waste management companies, and promoting the circular economy to protect people's health.
Vázquez replaces Miguel Varela, who will remain with the company in charge of international expansion and corporate development strategy. In this new position, Vázquez will develop new plans that will drive the company's growth and consolidate its position as one of the most important international software companies for the digitization of the waste vector.
Vázquez, who has 13 years of experience at TEIMAS, is an expert in traceability, digitization and waste transfer, and an advocate for the usefulness of waste as a valuable resource.
