TEIMAS, a technology company specialized in solutions for recovery and recycling, has been selected as one of the beneficiary companies of the IFI INNOVA Loan for innovative projects of the IGAPE.
This funding establishes several categories, known as priority sectors of the Competitiveness Agency Galicia Industry 4.0. TEIMAS did it within the sections of "Disposal, recovery or recycling of waste" and "Services and software development".
According to the rules of this call, innovative projects of SMEs are eligible for IFI INNOVA Loans, especially technology-based SMEs, but also those who, with a proven track record, wish to undertake innovative projects in any sector of activity. In the latter case is TEIMAS and its new project ZeroThe company has more than 10 years of experience in the sector and among its portfolio of clients are important multinational companies of the IBEX 35.
But what is Zero? The experience cultivated over the years allowed TEIMAS to detect new needs within a business world that is increasingly concerned about its ecological footprint and is committed to the environment. That is why it decided to take a giant step forward with the development of this platform that simplifies and speeds up its leap to the circular economy. It is a tool designed for large companies that seeks to convert the management of waste and resources into quantifiable data in terms of reuse, recovery or recycling.
This is the most ambitious solution of TEIMAS with great international projection and, in this context, the confidence of IFI INNOVA will allow it to continue growing. This funding will develop the potential of the Zero project, expanding its capabilities and effectiveness. All the new features that will be introduced in the platform seek to streamline its use, expanding the control capacity and the issuance of information to customers.
Among the aspects that were assessed when applying for this financing, the most important were the product itself, such as the degree of sustainability and innovation or the commercial strategy. But their social projection was also evaluated in aspects such as the contribution of added value to the community, the creation of quality employment or the generation of new markets and export promotion.
The Galician Innovation Agency (GAIN) is a regional public agency, attached to the Department of Economy, Employment and Industry of the Xunta de Galicia. Its objective is to promote and structure innovation policies in the Galician public administrations, and to support and boost the growth and competitiveness of Galician companies through the implementation of efficient innovation strategies and programs. The project is co-financed by ERDF funds.
